Participants are expected to be largely self-sufficient. Do not plan on hanging out at the checkpoints for long!
The following checkpoints are confirmed:
- Winter: we have rented a cabin at the Farzwego Winter Nights. The cabin has a kitchenette and space to change gear etc. (Note – the bedroom is for volunteers!)
- Birchwood: we have rented a room at the Birchwood Motel. The room has a microwave and limited space. (Note – let’s keep one of the queen beds for volunteers!)
No guarantees but we will try to have some hot food available. At a minimum, there will be microwaveable soups and noodles.
- Pine Creek Rd. (50k only!): we will have a car with water, soda and basic food supplies.
